Orbital Collets / Inserts

Collets, inserts, saddles… whatever you call it, we ours better!

First we make ours from stainless steel to give you better wear and longer life compared to aluminum collets.

Second, we improved OEM design with our time tested EDM pattern to provide a bit of flex to accept oversize, hold out of round, or undersized tubing and to prevent marring.

Our AMI 9-500 cassettes are milled from a block, not welded like the OEM. This will leave to better alignment on both sides of the tube. We also improved the gate screws by PVD coating them and now offer Nitronic 60 thumb screws as an upgrade to ensure there is no galling. Our cassettes also include springs to hold the latch up to make closing the upper gate easier.
