Who We Are

Alan Avis - Founder

Alan has over 37 years of experience in the orbital welding industry. He was a founder of Otto Arc Systems, Inc. who started manufacturing and selling welding equipment in 1988. The line of products started with Beveling and Facing Machines and they incorporated many new products to the selection of high-end welding machines. In 2018 Alan split from Otto Arc and created Elite Industrial Sales to focus solely on aftermarket part support for multiple brands. He brings decades of experience in owning, operating, designing and servicing orbital welding equipment. More importantly, ask him about fishing or golf!

Joel Ifill - Co-Owner

Joel Has over 20 years of experience in metal fabrication as a welder and later welding engineer. As a welding engineer he has worked on everything from rocket engines, to Nuclear reactors, to 3d printing, to the fountains of Bellagio. He has 5 patents in Mechanical, Welding, and Aero Engineering. He consults as a welding engineer with a focus on exotic metal welding and quality systems such as NADCAP and AS9100. He focuses on engineering and manufacturing. He also provides free welding engineering consults with all customers. More importantly, ask Joel about breakdancing or motorcycles.

Ky-Won Lee - Co-Owner

Ky-Won Lee is a distinguished entrepreneur, investor and financial guru. With over two decades of experience in finance and operations, Ky-Won brings a wealth of expertise and strategic vision to Donut Tools and Elite Industrial Sales. Through his experience in the commercial real estate, e-commerce, gambling and banking industries, Ky-Won has honed his skills in operations, finance, planning, and strategy, ensuring the seamless execution of priorities and tracking key performance indicators to drive growth and operational excellence. Our History

In 2015 Elite Industrial Sales was spun off from Otto Arc as the independent aftermarket parts and accessories supplier for orbital welding. As an independent parts supplier it allowed us the ability to service and provide parts for all major brands. As small business owners we understand how every dollar counts. We saw that OEM’s were running a “printer and ink model” treating spare parts as a way to squeeze customers for money. Elite Industrial Sales started when a customer asked if we could manufacture a part that was no longer available. Appalled at the high asking prices we knew we could reverse engineer and manufacture a superior part. Over time, this led us to building a library of hundreds of aftermarket parts that we design, engineer, manufacture, and stock in the US! We pride ourselves for going above and beyond, we fix flaws and add improvements to our parts to give you high quality and focus on keeping costs low for our customers.

… and we still carry many Otto Arc and Otto Tool parts and supplies.
