Extreme Heat Resistance for Dry Cutting 316 Stainless & Sanitary Tubing

The QC-70 is engineered for the toughest industrial applications. While standard coatings struggle with the heat of 316 Stainless Steel, the QC-70 features a premium AlTiN (Aluminum Titanium Nitride) coating. This “dark” coating is specifically designed to thrive in high-heat environments, making it the ideal choice for orbital saws running at low RPMs with minimal lubrication.

Key Performance Advantages:

AlTiN Thermal Barrier: The AlTiN coating allows the blade to withstand temperatures up to 900°C (1650°F). During the cut, the coating forms a protective aluminum oxide layer that keeps heat in the chip and out of the tool.
Premium M35 Cobalt Steel: Built with 5% Cobalt to ensure maximum “red hardness” and edge retention under heavy workloads.
Reduced Friction & Chip Welding: The high surface hardness of AlTiN prevents 316 stainless chips from “welding” to the tooth gullets, ensuring a cleaner cut and longer tool life.
Extended Blade Reach: The 68mm diameter provides more usable material than standard 63mm blades, allowing for more resharpenings and a significantly lower cost-per-cut.
