Common Scenario. You have a strange sized tube or tube, maybe it’s a fitting, or just a metric size that doesn’t line up with common stock sizes. Getting a custom collet made from OEM’s can often feel onerous, slow and expensive. That’s where we come in with our custom collet program.

We make quick turn custom collet solutions for any facing machine we support.

Our program covers all of our product lines, including the TSM-1100, TSM-1501M, TSM-2100, TSM-2500, TSM-4500, and TSM-6000. We also manufacture custom saddles and collets for other brands we support, including the TriTool 301, 301SP TriTool 302, TriTool 304, TriTool STS-1, and Orbitalum RPG One. Have something different, old or out of stock? That’s okay too we also reverse engineer and make stock or custom collets.

How it works

• Size Range: We can make any size in a collet as long as it fits within the range for the machine. For example, we make custom collets ranging from 0.125” to 4.55” in diameter for the TSM-4500. If you don’t know the size limits just ask we have that available.
• Any Geometry… Think outside the circle: Don’t let standard constraints limit your production. We can machine any shape—including non-circular configurations—to securely hold fittings, valve bodies, or specialized components. As long as the side getting faced can be faced by a circular path you are good to go!
• Precision fit: Every custom collet is machined to a tolerance of +0.001” / -0.000”, ensuring an accurate, repeatable fit that eliminates part slippage and marring. The collets are designed to provide clamping force even if the tube is slightly undersized.
• Quick Lead Times: Our standard turnaround time is 3 weeks. If you are facing a critical deadline, rush orders are available to get you up and running quick.
